About Kate:
Kate Jameson has always wanted to be a writer. She started making up stories before she could read or write. After earning her degree in Professional Writing, she was hired on at Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr. magazines, where she has been for the last two years. When she’s not working, she can be found devouring books, writing her own stories, hiking the beautiful trails in Colorado or participating in her local theater group.
Clubhouse Magazine is a monthly publication for 8-12 year olds. Each issue contains fiction stories, crafts, recipes, quizzes and submissions from readers.
- We are mostly looking for nonfiction pieces: crafts, recipes, quizzes and stories about real kids living for Christ. We accept fiction pieces as well, but have fewer slots available.
Clubhouse Jr. Magazine is a monthly publication for 3-7 year olds. Each issue contains fiction stories, crafts, recipes, nature features and submissions from readers.
- We are mostly looking for nonfiction pieces: crafts, recipes, quizzes and stories about real kids living for Christ. We accept fiction pieces as well, both longer pieces and shorter early reader pieces.
